After identifying compliance gaps and potential fire-safety risks in its existing non-commercial storage facility, a prominent Delhi-based hospital partnered with Star Worldwide Group to implement a secure and structured records management system.
Our Records & Information Management team conducted a complete assessment of the hospital’s physical records and initiated a phased transition process. This included the secure segregation and relocation of sensitive files, followed by systematic digitisation and indexing of critical medical records. The records are now centrally managed through our Document Management System (DMS), allowing authorized hospital staff to retrieve files quickly while maintaining strict access control.
By moving from an unregulated storage environment to a compliant, professionally managed archive infrastructure, the hospital has significantly reduced regulatory risks, strengthened data security, and ensured faster access to patient records during audits or operational requirements.
This transition marks a major step toward safer, more efficient, and audit-ready medical records management.
